Hello dear I understand your concern Your symptoms could be due to upper respiratory tract infection, viral or allergic bronchitis. Take following advises for next 7 days. -Take Cough syrup containing guaifenesin and dextromethorphan (Q tussin CF): 10 ml three times a day - Tablet diomenic DA -Drink plenty of lukewarm water -Steam inhalation 3-4 times a day -Strepsil throat lozenges (neem and honey flavor):take every 3 hourly -Avoid cold beverages and exposure to pollutants If the cough persists despite using the above medication then further workup would be required by consulting the pulmonologist.
